Russell Gordon Tipper
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Russell Tipper holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining), a Master of Business Administration, a WA Quarry Manager’s Certificate of Competency and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Mr Tipper has considerable executive, mining and project level experience, having held a number of senior executive positions with mining companies over the years, including group treasurer for a large miner for four years. He has delivered feasibility studies and project proposals for major mining and infrastructure projects, such as the Hope Downs Iron Ore Project and the Karara Magnetite Project. His in-country experience with responsibility for iron ore and manganese projects in South Africa gives him a good understanding of the mining regime in that country.
Mr Tipper has also been instrumental in debt restructuring and capital raising, along with providing leadership in the revision of workplace practices at mining operations.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Adam Bick was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2019. Prior to this, he was the Group Financial Controller and Commercial Manager of the Company, commencing in April 2017. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of experience in CFO and/or senior managerial positions in the resources industry. His commodities experience incorporates oil, gas, mineral sands and iron ore with companies including Fortescue Metals, ARC Energy Ltd and New Zealand Oil & Gas.
Group Exploration/Geology Manager
Mr Bahman Rashidi is a geologist with over 21 years of experience in a diverse group of mining companies, across greenfields exploration, project development, mining operations and consultancy in the CIS countries, Middle East, Africa, South America and Australia. He is a member of AusIMM and AIG, a registered geologist of IMEO and a Competent Person as defined by the JORC Code.
Group Technical Services Manager
Dr Surinder Ghag is a highly qualified metallurgist with 21 years of broad experience in management and operations, project development from studies through to commissioning, business development and business improvement. His commodities experience cuts across copper-gold, mineral sands, tin and iron ore in companies including Consolidated Rutile, Ok Tedi Mining, Nautilus Minerals and Atlas Iron.
Mr Fletcher Hancock has extensive experience in mining, energy and resources sectors having previously acted as Legal Counsel for Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd, Corporate Counsel for Verve Energy and in private practice with the Energy & Resources team at Blake Dawson and Ashurst Australia. Mineral projects with which Fletcher has been involved include the Roy Hill Iron Ore Project, the Nicholas Downs Manganese Project and the proposed Mulga Downs Iron Ore Project.
